Nanosuspension is one of the methods used to increase the solubility and the bioavailability of a drug by reducing the particle size and increasing the surface area. Preparation of nanosuspension involves either a bottom-up processing or a top-down processing. The bottom-up processing reduces the particle size of a drug molecule by controlled precipitation from its dissolved state. In the current review, a brief discussion is done on the application of nanosuspension technology to improve solubility of BCS class II drug.
